Need help to find the best software!!
 

I need help from anyone who really knows about computer soft ware or chip upgrade.
My vehicle is a 04 330i sport package. I was on the internet and found so many sites and so many things to chose from i realy need help to find something that is knowen to work so anybody please help.

i gotta throw my .02 for Dinan....but only if you go stage 2 and get the intake to go with it, otherwise you would be wasting your money. that setup was the first mod to my car and i really liked it.

ESS makes a nice NA software

The Shark is nice and convenient.

ESS what is that what does it stand for.
How do i get the dinan software i was looking for it and found that i had to go to a auth. dealership. the problem is that i live in Puerto Rico and things are hard to find.

European Supercharger Systems... or something. But they also make NA software. I had it with my headers. Nice throttle map.

Shark is easy to come by and easy to put on. You don't have to send anyone your ECU.

Is it better to send your computer to be remaped or is the shark system better or soming similar.

It's mostly personal choice.

I'm going to go with the Shark so that I can restore the computer to its original form if I need to get a software update at the dealer or something. I still have warranty so the more the car appears to be stock when I take it in, the better.

The BEST software for your car is always going to be one that was tuned specifically for it. If you can hold out until the Shark Edit becomes available, it'll be the best way to go. It can do anything that current software providers are doing, but can be fine tuned.

How long until the Shark Edit comes out?

The shark edit is a display module or do you have to connect a computer.
How does it work and were can i find more info on it.

Does this only work of the e90s or can it work for the e46s???

Just keep in mind that this is has the ability to do all including destroy your car. But it WILL be the best! Try to find a local tuner that is willing to play with it if your not. This would be a good choice if you are thinking of going turbo (:4ngie:) or some other FI system in the future. Oh yea you may want to look into a wideband o2 setup too.

Im gonna run a SC or Turbo setup in my 2001 330i Step :)

i found out that Steps can only handle up to 305 hp.. so about 5-6psi Max.. or my tranny will be Dead Meat :)
