Is it possible to add the Miles Until Empty Fuel Sensor?????

My friend has a 330 and he has the function that tells him how many miles he has until he's out of gas. Is it possible to add that function to my 325i? IF so, how detailed is the DIY? I've always pondered this possibilty so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly, all the E46s have the OBC, so you'll just have to buy a light stalk with the BC button and then have the OBC option enabled at the dealer.

Sorry to bring up this old thread.
I have 318i facelift and it does not have the light stalk with BC button so in the dash there is just the clock and miles. I can't see temperature for example.

Would it be possible for me to buy a new stalk and enable these features? Does my car have the temp sensor, and fuel sensor and so oo?

yeh, you can, not sure on the details, but search OBC or BC stalk retrofit
