GC coilovers - why are they so cheap?

These things are retardedly inexpensive and I need a new suspension since mine is fubar'd. I'm a total suspension noob (ULTRA noob actually since I know NOTHING), so forgive me if this is a dipsh!t question.

EDIT: for those too lazy to click the link :), these are $400.

that is for a coilover-conversion kit.
it basically converts your stock struts into struts with threaded sleeves to allow you to adjust ride height.

Ahhhhhh, I didn't know such a kit existed. That explains it. Thank you sir, that was driving me nuts!
