moar DIY food threads

So with all the DIY food threads.. I thought I would document my dinner tonight :eeps:

Cheese Omelet, nice and simple

Start with a little butter to get the pan ready
http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/4145/dsc0001bo0.jpg

Grab some eggs.. I prefer the brown ones
http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/8548/dsc0002es4.jpg

Wisk the eggs well in a bowl or something
http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/3537/dsc0003sk1.jpg

I like to add a little milk to make them good and fluffy
http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/8653/dsc0004il4.jpg

Shred a little cheese to add in there, I chose Pepper Jack tonight
http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/9313/dsc0005si7.jpg

add the eggs to the pan set to medium
http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/6636/dsc0006xq7.jpg

salt and pepper to taste
http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/1465/dsc0007ez0.jpg

flip and add cheese
http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/2720/dsc0008dw2.jpg

flip half way to give it the great omelet shape
http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/5448/dsc0009mm8.jpg

I like a little hot sauce.. mmmm time to enjoy

I have a good one for authentic-tasting Mexican chicken fajitas that is pretty easy to prepare. Everyone that's eaten them has loved them.

I will try to make some tomorrow so I can post it up.

Looks good

Hey guys, have you guys ever used a blender to mix the eggs before putting them in the frying pan?

I tried that this morning, while making my signature scrambled eggs. They have never tasted so good.

Yea, neither do I.

When I make my eggs I'll whip them, add a little salt, spray some Pam on the pan and pour the eggs on and cook.

Seems pretty standard to me. :dunno:
