328ci exhaust question
Looking to upgrade my exhaust on my 328ci and add a little power. Interested in the AA Gen 3 High Flow, but a friend told me straight pipes will get the same sound.
Question is will the straight pipes add any hp? Also what other exhausts would give a deeper sound and power increase? |

Straight pipes with stock muffler will give an deep aggressive sound but no power increase. |
from my experience...after ebay headers & full Cat back (Highline) it kicks, smells and farts....and yes the car rolls a little more even after I stop gasing.

oh and that clips was made before the tranny swap i did...after the 5speed swap, the setup isnt as loud |
I've always got to suggest the setup I have.... Remus wild label muffler (with resonator delete) and the Simota intake.

Do they have an exhaust system that sounds like the G35 or 350Z? FX35? Those exhausts sound to good..I would love to have one for my 330i :)
|
Go for the AA exhaust. I am certain you will like it.

thanks for the responses
Silly question: Is "resonator deleting" simply cutting out a resonator or what?? |
^ Yup- you will need a shop that knows what they're doing. Otherwise the wrong parts will be cut and it will get messy.
