What are the stiffest springs i can get for my car while maintaining the height of my car or close to it?:banghead:

With or without coilovers? With good coilovers you can essentially adjust the height independent of spring choice.

Are you talking street stiff or track stiff here?

Most, if not all, aftermarket replacement springs are designed more for lowering than customized spring rate and ads tend to reflect the drop amount more than the rate. They're typically also progressive rate which makes it a little more difficult to quantify the spring rate. Generally with this type of spring, the lower the stiffer.

I want to keep the stock shocks due to tech reasons. but i really just want it to be stif as f u c k.

You can run linear springs at whatever rate you want, but you'll need front camber plates for them to work properly.

You're asking for nothing but trouble here. Stock shocks will be blown in no time with anything much stiffer than the stock springs. You'll also have a really crappy ride if the spring rates get too high for the stock shocks to control. I would highly encourage you to pursue a different path. Not sure I understand why you even want to do this anyway.

dude.. the only way youll get stiff springs are if you get low springs. keeping your stock shocks is a bad idea no matter what. h&r sport are decent stiff.. if you want em stiffer u can heat em but thats just more like bouncy and youll be lower. why you would want a stiff ride i have no idea. with a stiffer ride have fun with your control arm and subframe problems as well.

yes, but why are you keeping your stock shocks? they will blow out in no time with stiffer springs. change out your shocks to some adjustable ones and make those stiff.

OP, what you are asking for is not feasible. If you want what you are asking for then you'll have to swap out the stock shocks. The easiest thing you could do would probably be to get an H&R Clubsport Coilover kit; that would be pretty f'ing stiff. With that you could keep it close to stock height and make it really stiff if you wanted.

Who are you calling a retard? There's not one single response in this thread suggesting that you lower your car. What people are trying to explain is that the only way to get stiffer springs is through the use of lowering springs (which are forced to be stiffer). There's really nothing available in the way of a stiffer, stock height replacement spring. Coilovers have been suggested since they have adjustable spring perches which would allow you to match a linear rate spring with the rate of your choice and still set the ride height near stock. Coilovers would also bring adjustable dampers into play. Crank up the compression and rebound damping enough and you can get a stff ride using your current springs.
