i just created the best piece of fish i have ever had

so im on a diet , working out etc..............i love fried flounder, i used to do it in bread crumbs and canola oil

well, canola oil is bad, and took a look at the bread crumbs, salt, sugar.........ditched

i bought some corn meal, nothing but carbs which is good, mixed it with some mrs dash extra spicey, fried it in safflower oil, an unsaturated oil, and doused it with some chulula................

its was crunchy and light as a fukc, awesome.............thought id share

not necessarily
salmon is fatty, although omega 3 is excellent for you

if i had to choose a white "flakey" fish (cod, scrod, flounder, etc) flounder would easily get my vote (or maybe even sole)

What is wrong with canola oil ? I never heard anything bad about that . I cook with olive oil and use a cheap vegetable oil in the fryer, btw.
Your dinner looked tasty though.
Bon Apetit'
