Certified pre-owned 330Ci ZHP competition

11 Attachment(s)
This car is still under factory warranty! increasingly harder to find! 100,000miles/ Sept 10, 2010

Here is a rare BMW 330ci ZHP. What sets this apart from the rest you ask?

The codename ZHP is given to a special line of 330ci's that were manufactured with a $3,900 competition package. This package was only available through special order and included many upgrades that gives this not only a more aggressive stance, but more aggressive performance as well.

The first thing you see are the changes on the exterior. 19in M/// style rims come with Z-rated Michelin Sport tires. The back tires have been widened to 255 to keep traction at high speeds. There is a whole new M/// Style II body kit with larger ports in front to cool the powerhouse underneath the hood and the large brakes for excellent stopping power. There is also a small spoiler to help keep the car glued to the ground. And finally a stainless steel BMW sport exhaust to compliment the look with a nice low tone.

Next comes the interior where you are greeted to an alcantara steering wheel to make sure you dont loose your grip when the adrenalin is flowing. You have a carbon block interior trim that is only offered on the ZHP series. 8-way adjustable sport bucket seats with 3-position memory to keep you strapped in when taking G's in the turns. And lastly there is a little button on the center console that turns off the Traction control and stability control for when you really want an experience.

Adjustments are done under the hood as well to make sure performance is up to par. There are more aggressive cams giving you an extra 10bhp and a broader torque range. stiffened Sport suspension to get you through turns with ease. And a quicker steering giving you full feel of the road.

All of the above is just what comes with the ZHP package on top of the regular luxuries of the standard 330ci. Adaptive auto headlights, rain sensing wipers, LED taillights, Sunroof/Moonroof, Dual Climate Control.

So come test drive, you wont be disappointed! Thank you fellow fanatics.

325rider 11-28-2008 09:36 PM

Those are 18" wheels.
The package is 3,000$ i believe someone come in and agree/correct me but to the OP ... you are wrong its not 6,000$
Aren't the mirrors identical to all coupes?
Car looks nice. GL with the sale :thanks:

$3900 for the performance package. Definitely not a $6k package.
He is right, the ZHP wheels are staggered 18s.
You don't get 10 WHP but 10 BHP. The engine isn't a 3.2 liter either...
This guy sounds like a used car salesman.
A ZHP with an automatic is dumb IMO.

What a fool.

PHLLY1 11-29-2008 03:07 AM

LOL....sounds like a serious sales pitch. The 100,000 warranty is questionable unless the original owner purchased an extended one from the beginning because as far as I know they came with 4year/50,000 mile warranties (whichever comes first) as mine did. Some of the wording like "more aerodynamic mirrors" and "Style body kit with larger ports in frond to cool the powerhouse underneath the hood and the large brakes for excellent stopping power" definitely screams DEALER......a fanatic wouldn't describe a ZHP this way in my opinion. However it sounds like a decent deal--although mine is at 50900 and has a better interior color scheme....I should sell mine:)

Sorry, you guys are right

You guys are right. Sorry about my mis-information. It is a 3.0 ltr engine. And I did read the wrong number for the price of the package, I was looking at the ZCP for the M3. Sorry

But you can say what you want, I am not a salesman. I actually really hate selling cars, but its the only way to get rid of the old car without getting ripped off by dealers.

I just got in a flow when writing it and I guess it does sound kinda sales pitchy doesnt it? Well Im a private seller living in Chino Hills and I work at Harkins Theatres, my phone number is listed there and it is my car, Im not selling it for anyone else.

And finally, you will be amazed at how well this transmission works. It is actually pretty fast at shifting. Of course it will never match up to a manual, but as far as autos go, its definetly the best next to Merc's trans. Comfortable, but very capable as a sport transmission.

And the original owner did purchase the extended warranty. It really does have the 100,000 mile/sept 2010 warranty. I just found this out like a month ago. I thought once I hit the 50k mark it was over, so I went to my personal mechanic for a while. But I had to take it to the dealer a month ago and the guy handed me my receipt with a $0.00 amount and I was like "wtf!" and he told me it had the extended warranty. Very good news indeed.

Thanks for all the info and Ill correct it when I can

Nice car but I wouldn't expect anything near $24.5k, hell some M3s are going for that same price with less mileage.

Thanks.

Ive looked around for comparable M3's. Maybe the M3s are cheaper where you live, but within a 100miles of where I live, I couldnt find an M3 in perfect condition with less than 60,000 miles that is going for that price. And especially if you want a warranty with it, goes up to $35k still. The E39 M5s are getting there though.

I based my price off of what I saw around me. Now I will admit that there are probably a couple on here that might be the same price. There are good prices for a few on here.

But I believe it is well worth it. Its in perfect condition. Every potential buyer is welcome to inspecting it if they would like. And trust me, I am not getting a single penny from the asking price anyway unfortunetly :( So Im not being greedy either.

Anyway, nice day to all of you guys

-Jeff

Some members forget to take into consideration the actually year the car was manufactured. You may be able to purchase a M3 for a cheaper price but I doubt it will be a 2004 like the year the OP car is.I believe the price you have your car listed at is a very reasonable amount.

fail, it wasn't special order only, it doesn't have a more aggressive stance, its not wider than a regular 330Ci, just a tad lower.... and the option was either 2 or 3 grand

The first thing you see are the changes on the exterior. 19in M/// style rims come with Z-rated Michelin Sport tires. The back tires have been widened to 255 to keep traction at high speeds. more fail, rims are 18s and the brakes aren't that large  also that spoiler in the back doesn't do sh*t, so  at the corny marketing on this

true, however nothing special.... at the traction control sentence

see above in bold

regular used-car salesman trying to sound like they know what they are talking about, and at the same time talking like they are selling this car to a 5 year old

however, it is a sharp car, but a zhp in an auto ruins it for me

Lol give this guy a break. In stock form, my 330i ZHP had a more aggressive "stance" than my stock 328Ci ZSP (which is identical to the way a 330Ci ZSP on the outside).

OP - Best of luck to your sale as it sounds like a great car. I know you meant well and your price sounds fair. These low 20s M3s people are talking about are generally 01-02s and have over 80k miles w/o any warranty.

ACK, you're probably gonna have to lower it under $20,000 to sell it. That sucks!
