I just got my $1 Angel eyes & didn't confuse them for P46's or blow them up!

Lot of funny threads with the $1 angel eyes. The guy who thought they were headlamps for $1 and then Zach113092 plugging his angel eyes into a wall socket.

Thanks DDM Tuning for the incredible deal and fast shipping, on both the 30 LED angel eyes and CCFL angel eyes!

Here is my order, arrived safe and sound, CCFL, LED, and unexpected wiring harness and relay:bow::

And I read the box and noticed it took 9-15 volts DC, so I just went around looking at the power cables of electronics around the house. My cordless phone charger in the kitchen output 9 volts DC. I took a guess and assumed the outside of the plug was negative and the inside positive, touched the wires to the plug, and voila!

They are brighter than I expected, maybe just cause it is at night:

This is with my camera automatically adjusting exposure, the black area is actually brightly lit in real life:

An in-between exposure, and a view of my little setup:

The basics of installing them is really easy.
  1. Headlight covers are held in with just plastic tabs and the angel eyes just clip on the tops of the reflectors.
  2. You need to ground all the black wires.
  3. The white wires need to connect to a switched power source..

Now as for the details, like where to get switched power, ground, and how to connect everything up is the part that takes some creativity. :)
