oem bmw m3 strut bar
3 Attachment(s)
i have a oem m3 strut bar painted alpine white. ($150)
looking to sell this, but willing to paint any color for a small fee ($50)

part is just slightly dirty, nothing wrong with the part. paint is worn in the center from rubbing on the hood insulator

SDKmann 03-02-2009 08:30 PM

How much for the bar itself?

TOMMY G 03-02-2009 08:40 PM

sorry, editted.....$150

SDKmann 03-02-2009 08:45 PM

Hmmm, seems a bit high. I actually just got done looking through old threads and non-painted, non-scuffed bars were selling at $150. Does it even have the ///M caps?

TOMMY G 03-03-2009 08:35 AM

ok so someone can make me an offer then...

DenaliXTC 03-04-2009 12:17 AM

bumpppp for tommmy G!!!

SB330 03-04-2009 02:19 AM

price would've been more attractive if it was in original paint.
i dont feel white strut bar on my silver car

TOMMY G 03-04-2009 08:47 AM

it can very easily be returned to "Flat black" original finish if someone wants it that way. most fanatics like things to be a little different

stb5151 03-04-2009 08:56 AM

Will this fit on an e46 sedan?

TOMMY G 03-04-2009 08:57 AM

i believe sedan or coupe should be the same for the strut towers....ill bring it to work and line it up tomorrow for you

stb5151 03-04-2009 09:02 AM

Let me know. If you return to flat black, I'll definately pick it up from you for a good price.

Why did that rubbing occur initially?

ventur@ 03-04-2009 09:23 AM

the rubbing looks normal. I have the same setup with my 330cic. I think it is cuz our hoods dont have the raise in it like the m3. But other than a lil paint scuff. DUDE! i can tell the difference the moment i put it on!

stb5151 03-04-2009 09:27 AM

You don't have to sell me on it, but I don't want to mess up my hood at it's expense.

Tommy G, if it fits well with no rubbing in a sedan, I will pick it up for a good price. Flat black of course. Just let me know.

stb5151 03-04-2009 09:49 AM

By the way, what will you do to get it back to flat black?

stb5151 03-04-2009 10:02 AM

PM sent!!

SWINFORD 03-04-2009 11:01 AM

so I guess my offer is denied?

stb5151 03-04-2009 12:20 PM

PM sent.

Offer retracted.
