Stoptech 332mm Big Brake Kit for E36/E46/Z4
This kit fits all 3 series (except 330), Z3 (non-M), and Z4 (non-M).
Only 2000 miles on the kit. It is basically brand new. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3466/...8eb799e3_o.jpg This retails for $2195 +tax Yours for only $1800 picked up in Orange County. Bonus special: $1900 with hawk HT-10 pads. The pads are normally $190. |
this cant be adapted to fit a 330??? =(

It bolts up, but your brake bias might be off. Wouldn't matter if you're not tracking the car though. Lemme know.

Yes, but the front brakes on the 330 are also bigger than other 3 series. Putting this kit on a 330 would throw the bias to the rear because the pistons are sized for the smaller 3 series rear setup.

Go to stoptech's website and read up on brake bias.

do you have the rear BBk set up?

A free bump as well as some clarification...
Both of you are right on the topic. Yes BBK will throw off brake bias but not so much on the E46 330 or 325 etc. E46 brake bias is, fortunately (or unfortunately for track junkies), further controlled by the consortium of ABS, DSC, CBC and ASC+T. Think of it as a dynamic biasing. But of course one can argue there is a upper bound for the biasing. Coming from personal experiences, for street or track, these ST BBK as fronts and 330 rear factory calipers will do just fine. |
