I'm not sure if you're looking for advice or to buy but you should get a better reply in this forum.

with that budget look into Phoenix Gold RSD comps and you might have just enough left over for an alpine pdx-2.150 which would be a pretty nice budget setup.

Someone recommended mb quart pvi 213...any input?

If you are looking to get front speakers, consider 6.5" instead of 5-1/4. You will get much better midbass.

I don't want to cut my door...there have to be good 5.25"s....

EDIT: Also, forget that $ limit..I want it to sound good so just hit me with some good stuff, I don't want it crazy expensive but it can be more than what I first said. Def. want a 4 way amp too.

How about this set up??

AMP: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...DSC+4125.html#

Fronts: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...t+PVF+213.html

or Focal 130 V1's...found some new on ebay for 185....

Cutting the door is done to improve performance (works on both 5's and 6.5's), but is not required. You can mount 6.5's on the door panel if you want.
