Might replace amps any suggestions

I have 3 Percision Power 2400i 2 channel amps. They are GREAT amps and I live them, but they are very large and I'd like to consolidate a little. Here is what they look like in my old car.

So I'm looking for a idea for replacement amp. Maybe doing 1 amp instead of the 3.

Any one have good suggestions?

I'm going to be pushing a Single 10" JL 10w3 sub, set of MB Quartz components and rears (yet to be decided)

Thanks, Shane

Those are very nice amps. Any changes would probably end up being downgrades. If you want to reduce the number of amps, just get rid of rear speakers, or if you must have rears, maybe bridge one of the 2-channels to power front/rear and ajust volume level on rears using L-pads.

If you do want to go with another brand/model, I would still get 2 amps, one for speakers and one for subs. Not that many 5-channel amps that have a decent bass output in relation to the other speakers.

Thanks, Guess I will just go with 2 amps, keeping these. I will do the like you said. I just have to find a place to mount them in the trunk.

Those are nice amps, and while my set up isn't has high quality as those, I'm also going through a weight reduction, consolidation project. I've got one amp for my 10", and a 4-channel amp for my MB Quart components fronts and coaxial rears.

Maybe put them under front seats? or in spare tire area?

No room under front seats for those. Best thing to do (if they fit) is to build a shelf and suspend them from the rear deck (since they can't be mounted upside down. Another option is build up the floor and enclosing the amps with maybe plexiglass windows so you have a usable trunk (make sure amps have enough cooling though.

Yeah no upside down for these. I was thinking tire well. Guess i can go without a spare tire. I've done it before.

The way it usually works is you never need a spare tire when you have it. As soon as you remove it, you have a flat...

I agree with that. I don't have a spare in my Corvette, and I no longer run my runflats now. So why not play the game a little. :)
