Newest Addition to the Arsenal

I'm super excited to finally have my own M1 Garand. I ordered it from the CMP. It's a correct grade produced post-WWII by Harrington and Richardson. As a marine, it feels good to have a piece of history that defended democracy.

Well, if your balls are 9-10lbs like mine, then yes!! :lmao:

Yeah, it's a heavy, solid rifle. Much more unwieldy than the AR-15. They are just so cool though. They are a true pleasure to shoot..smooth and accurate.

Nice! I know nothing about guns but how hard is it to get ammo for those?

It's easy. It fires the 30-06 Springfield that you can pick up at Wal-Mart. The Carbine will be more difficult as far as ammo goes though I think. I ordered my ammo from the CMP. They have better prices, it's just old ammo. We will see how it fires soon enough.

I know exactly what he meant, thanks. I didn't know there was a gun forum. I'm not retarded though. If I could move it I would.
