are these 100% white or are they tinted with another color? Kinda look purple in the pic

They are pure white. Unfortunately that is just a bad pic that makes it look purpleish.

I've always wondered about these error-canceling units, if the lights are really out do you find out still or no?

If the lights fail, the computer will still trip a bulb out warning.

Sell me on these...

Why are they worth $10.05 more than a competitors "replacement" led license-plate bulbs? Easier to swap out? Brighter? More LED's?

I have a melted/malfunctioning old clear-corner light that I must replace, the difference between yours and his is $1, no biggie, thought I'd pick up a set of LED plate bulbs while I was at it. Having trouble deciding if yours are worth the extra cash...

With these, you are guaranteed to have no errors whatsoever whereas the LED bulbs are either a hit/miss in regards to the errors. In addition, you will get 18 LEDs that will provide a more even light distribution vs. competitors (and even our own V3 9-LED) bulbs.

Yeah those pictures definitely are better, so this is just another set up for led license plate bulbs? What's the difference between these and the other ones you offer (don't/didn't you guys have a different setup for sale?), the error free guarantee? And do these light up the back of the street behind you like you have a spot light back there like some others do?

These are complete housings rather than the bulbs that go into your existing housings. The Version 3 Bulbs we offer are bulbs that go in your existing housings. The full housings offer the brightest output available and are 100% error free.

Does anyone have a picture of the light from underneath, i.e. the bottom of the light ? Because I have a 03 325i Sedan and looking at the original light housing, the wiring is crimped/soldering to the housing light.

Bought similar units from F1 and they would not fit my 2001 vert. I had to return them. Are yours any different? The housing on a vert is different than the coupe.

Not sure why it would be different than my `03 ZHP (pictured above).

These snap into the bulb location as if you were just replacing the bulb.

i was having some trouble getting them to fit my 2000 328ci. i got them in, but im not too sure how secure they are? it is a eurospec csl cf trunk though i dont know if that matters. im concerned my subwoofers might make the lights drop out.. its an expensive led bulb, should i use some kind of silicone or something to make sure they stay in place?
