2004 BMW M3 Coupe - $21,250 (VA)
This is a maticulously maintained 2004 BMW M3 Coupe; I am a car fanatic. This car has been washed weekly, waxed at least four times a year, received a full clay bar detail twice a year, and I have always changed the oil half way between the scheduled services using BMW products.

This is a great car that has every option except SMG and rear sensors; basically, it's loaded! I am the second owner and I purchased this M3 in 2006. To my knowledge, this M3 has never been tracked, been in an accident, or undergone any type of performance modification.

Please don't hesitiate to ask questions. I have additional pictures available for serious buyers.

Asking $20,950 o.b.o.

Thanks Eddy!

It is a great car. I upgraded to it four years ago from a 323Ci; hang in there.

why was engine replaced in 06? rod bearing failure or other symptom?

Great question.

The engine was replaced because the engine spun a rod bearing. BMW NA reviewed the situation and decided that a warranty replacement was in order; BMW of Fairfax completed the work.

Ultimately, this situation gave me the opportunity to break-in the new engine. Anyone who knows me will agree when I say that I am probably borderline OCD. With that said, I chose to follow the break-in instructions to the letter. The engine does not loose a drop of oil between maintenance periods. I attribute this directly to the break-in procedure I followed.

Because of the high performance nature of the S54 motor, my attention to the engine has continued beyond the break-in period. I never exceed 3K RPM until the engine oil temp has reached 165 degrees. The engine has not been reved over 5K RPMs until the full operating oil temp has been reached (~195-200 degrees).

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the offer, but I am out of room in the garage. That's why this one is for sale.

I know the owner, he isn't borderline OCD... he's full blown. I don't think I've ever seen the car dirty! Good luck with sale.

Is the engine still under warranty, and if so, for how long?
