-3.0 on stock arms ? this is not possible .....something must be really wrong ...

Kringkily 05-05-2010 05:08 AM

yeah -3? wtf... id check your arms and suspension components asap...

silver_fck 05-05-2010 06:53 AM

yeah no kidding...im hittin the panic button right about now..im gettin under it today to check out the suspension..where do i adjust the camber at??

NOVAbimmer 05-05-2010 07:02 AM

I wouldn't think that camber is adjustable on stock suspension. M3 might be radically different from everything else on the road, though

did you lower the car?

johnhk79 05-05-2010 11:51 AM

if the car is really lowered, -3 is possible on stock arms.

At the outboard end of your lower wishbone/rear camber arm, there is an eccentric bolt/bushing where you can adjust your camber. Dunno how much you got to play with on the stock setup...
If you can't get it right with the stock wishbones, go for something like this;

-3 is way off spec. BMW specs camber at -1 front and -1.75 rear. There's only about 0.5 degree of play with a stock suspension. You definitely have bent control arms.

yeah it's been dropped...and if i can't bring it back as far as i want ...gonna have to get the adjustable arms...i should just get 'em anyway

where did you get the badass bumper...

Kringkily 05-08-2010 12:05 PM

gtr style bumper..thought about getting one but the groove allows for dirt and stuff to go out that way if it's really a functional one. Living in WA ur just askin to wash your rear all the time

wannasupra 01-18-2013 12:51 PM

you have to all the time anyway. my car is constantly filthy here.
