Front suspension questions
This is my first post and I just bought a 1999 328i sedan with the sport package (5 speed manual of course) for my first car:excited: and i was wondering if when replacing the struts in the front if I could use the same springs that are on the car. I dont want to change the ride at all if possible but am looking for a tighter set up because the originals are pretty worn and bouncy.

I don't see why not, that's what I'm planning to do! Already ordered all the bits I need minus the springs. Mine is non-sport though I think as I have 16" wheels, but I have the sports steering wheel...

Yea i dont see why it wouldnt work but just wanted to make sure. The originals are in pretty bad shape just ordered a pair of KONI SRT.T struts. Should be in by this weekend. Very excited

Check whether your back springs have snapped near the bottom before you decide to keep your OEM springs. Very common after about 5 years of driving.
These were mine before I switched my springs over to an Eibach Pro Kit. http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...a/DSCN5138.jpg |

my entire rear suspension feels rock solid like it should, its just the front struts are badly worn but ive had everything else in the front either replaced or inspected and my front springs look in pretty good shape just wanted to make sure i wouldnt have any issues with aftermarket struts working with the oem springs |
