you can hear these from miles away... i recommend these over any other sub.. unless you have the $$ for jlw7's. even then, i think these are quite comparable...

2 kicker s12'l7s, 2000 watt amp, Alpine CVA-I801 Screen, Sony Ps2

Niiiice! Those Kicker L series are crazy! My boy had one in his ride and it bumped so damn hard! I've been looking on ebay for a pair myself!

just noticed you're in tucson. u go to the u of a? well, if you do, maybe i'll see you around!

Bennyman 04-15-2003 04:22 AM

yo. what kind of amp do you have hooked up to those L7s? I'm getting 1 L7 and thinking a Profile CL1200 amp to push it. Is your 2000w amp making your Kickers register on the Reichter scale?

its a MA Audio Amp, it pounds hard as hell if your sitting in the car, but unfortunately sounds like shiza if your standing right outside it :( i need a few hundred $$$ for dynamat! Yea i go to UofA, i live at ****ty ole University House, home of people getting shot left and right, im sure ive already seen you around, what kinda ride you got?

Bennyman 04-15-2003 05:04 AM

Dynamat is NOT a few hundred bucks bruddah. You can buy the kits off of ebay cheap and then just install them yourself. You can probably do the trunk for about $50.

okay, well i stand corrected, to do it right cost a few hundred dollars. i know i can get the trunk get for about 75 bucks off ebay, but that would really be enough padding to drown out the bass that these things deliver. although it may not be hard to install, its still a pain in the @ss none the less

Delirium 04-15-2003 11:45 AM

you are the first person I know to use an MA audio amp. Looks nice.
