WTF is wrong with the new 7 series

so walking outside I saw a white 750li sitting pretty, and it looked alright from the side and back, but I first thought someone drove it into a wall.

ugliest thing ever

DanSeth 07-09-2010 01:38 PM

Looks like the 5 just bigger. Haven't you heard BMWs suck nowadays amirite

CollinsE90 07-09-2010 01:39 PM

i like it, that's not its best angle for sure

gTkidrokin330 07-09-2010 01:42 PM

imo that thing is sick in person

e46stallion 07-09-2010 01:44 PM

ya theyre pretty sick in person. ive driven them at my work a few times. super luxurious on the inside

M7MkII 07-09-2010 01:45 PM

i think that the standard ones look pretty bad, but the alpina variant is

TruckDaddy 07-09-2010 01:47 PM

idk, but i think the new 5 is meh

feia0303 07-09-2010 01:49 PM

the inside is

the grilles are like big nostrils, which is un-proportional IMO

BimmerFerret 07-09-2010 01:50 PM

I guess I'm the only guy that loves the new BMWs minus the E60.

Walz 07-09-2010 01:54 PM

I always found the front grills way to big. I also don't like the side marker thing... it looks weird.

SLVR JDM 07-09-2010 02:00 PM

It's fugly, that's what's wrong with it.

i think it's the placement. maybe it's too low on the body? :dunno:

They had to make the front so that it would be safer if a pedestrian was hit by the car. Government ruining sh!t again

I like the new 7 and 5 looks like BMW is going back to their design roots however the driving experience has been diminished greatly. I drove the new 5 a couple of weeks ago and walked away disappointed. It drove just like a Lexus, the steering was numb and the ride was too plush. I strongly believe that the last gen 5 series and the current 3 series and 1 series will be the last true "Ultimate Driving Machines". BMW is more interested in volume than anything else and during this rough economical times you really can't blame them.

This.

They are getting killed by safety standards and being forced to raise the hoodline.

bmwti 07-09-2010 02:50 PM

lol.

when the last generation 7 series first came out- it was also discussed on here, and people exclaimed how much they hated the design. Now the new one is out, people are used to the "old" one, and the whole process starts all over again....
