KW Coilover Spring Conversion Kits

What we are offering to the e46 community is a way to convert the progressive and poorly designed KW springs to a linear set up. In order to do this you need to remove the KW springs and replace them with a linear spring.

KW uses a 61MM spring perch so in order to make the change you need to have 1MM machined off your bottom seat (threaded collar). We can provide a set of brand new KW bottom seats for $129.

We have tried many different linear springs and we have found Swift Springs to be the best.

Here is a thread that completely compares springs and explains why progressive springs (KW) are bad performers.

The basic front only kit consists of a custom upper spring perch, Swift springs, and Swift thrust sheets. Retail price is $299.

The complete kit will come with rear Swift springs, Swift thrust sheets, and a pair of rear height adjusters. Retail price is $672.

For those who wish not have to mess with machine work on the front lower spring adjusters, we also have a kit with machined adjusters included at $792.

The bottom photo is he front kit mounted on KW struts, one with the stock upper mount, and the other with Vorshlag camber plate.

***Slight machine shop work is required for the front lower spring perch, which can easily be done at a local mahine shop***

A wide variety of spring rates are available to choose from or we can make a recommendation for you.

Camber plates(Vorshlag) is optional but recommended if you are attending HPDE or track days. When adding camber plates to either kit, you are looking at an additional $439.
