.:: SALE or TRADE - RARE - ACS STRUT BAR ::.

I am tearing my car apart and rebuilding for next show season, so I will be selling my hood/bumper/trunk/seats/wheels/stereo and much more. I am looking to powdercoat parts of my engine to match my new wheels, and looking to trade or sell my ACS Strut bar. The bar is in great condition and always kept clean and as you know retails for $1,200.

I am interested MOST in Dixis Titanium Strut bar, however I am open to options (NO OEM PARTS)

If a sale is preferred I am listing for $800.

That is exactly the same bar I have. Didn't know it retailed for that high a price. Bought mine from a forum member used in mint condition, however I paid much less than $800. Chas

Is yours authentic? The ACS retailed at $1200 however there are a lot of knock offs. Either way, price is OBO.

Mine looks exactly like yours with the AC Schnitzer stamp engraved in black. Mount points, brackets, all look identical. Didn't know there were knockoffs. If it is, then it's a real good job. I also think it's one of the best looking cross braces out there. Get compliments on it all the time. BTW, why are you changing? Post up a pic of the one you want to buy, if you can. I'd be interested in what it looks like. Chas

Mine looks exactly the same, but I got it off ebay (new) 6 or 7 years ago for about $180 if I remember right... Only problem with these (or probably just the knockoff ones) is the aluminum tends to strip out over time if you are not careful torquing them down and they don't hold tightly. I drilled mine out and added stainless steel heli-coils to all the threaded parts. Great strut bars!

Do you have any paperwork (receipt?) showing it is genuine ACS? That would help any doubters...

Nice looking Engine!
