BimmerWorld on Two Guys Garage - This Sunday (10/17/2010) at 9AM East on SPEED
1 Attachment(s)
From pistons to painting, welding to wheel balancing, dyno and track testing, Two Guys Garage covers virtually every aspect of vehicle repairing, customizing and restoring. The hosts perform product demonstrations and installations on a wide variety of import and domestic cars and light trucks, and they show viewers the right way to execute modifications with hands-on projects. Check out this Sunday's (10/17/2010) episode where Bryan and Kevin build a V8 E30 calling on the experts at BimmerWorld for help.
Starting with a 1990 BMW M3 the guys repower it with a 2010 LS3 V8 engine (Z06 Vette) and T56 6-speed manual transmission. With a wild power train like that there's no way the rest of the car is stock. The four corners get high end track suspension with AST remote reservoir dampers, Powerflex high-durometer track bushings, and various BimmerWorld components, Diffsonline diff, BBS wheels, SPA gauges, Schroth belts, and more! The guys end up with a 500 Hp daily driver and track machine but don't take my word for it, tune into see what they build! Speed Channel 9AM this Sunday 10/17/2010  |

Not currently.

I was able to watch it and they are continuing the build next Saturday. It's pretty incredible all the work they are doing to make that chassis Accept the huge V8 Monster engine. That car is going to be SICK!

Call me a purist but I would have much rather seen them stay with a BMW power plant (S54 on standalone perhaps). Very cool project none the less.
