DDE installation tricks/tips, advice....
I ordered the DDE V kit and I'm going to install them this week. Now the most complex thing I've installed on a car is a cone filter, and that isn't saying much. But I am always willing to take a challenge. I'm just going to follow the detailed instructions included and see how things work out. My questions is for the folks who have successfully installed theirs, you guys have any advice or tips for me, maybe talk about some things to avoid? Thanks alot and I'll definatly post some pics when I get everything working.

make sure your hands are SUPER clean when installing the HALO/RINGs. Wear latex gloves if you want. You don't want to leave finger prints in your handlight area.

2) Wire the optic first ..... attached them to the HALOs. After that, you can attached the Halos to the headlight.

don't use electrical tape to wrap the fibers around the lightbox, it gets REALLY hot and tape will melt away. believe me. :P
also, take your time and don't force anything...

Besides what is above:

Use quick connect spades for wire ends... makes removal for bulb changes or anything else very convienent.

Also use a relay so you don't steal power from existing circuit and may cause a blown fuse in it.

Don't touch xenons... never touch....

if you have the cold weather package, put the rings on, then turn the car lights on to have the self leveling lights move so you can adjust to make sure the rings don't interfere with their movement.

hmmm.. not much esle i can think off....

Thanks alot fellas. I have halogen headlights so these should be relatively easy to install. I've done my research and read the instructions so I'm ready to put these bad boys in on frinday afternoon.
