Free Husky to a Good Home

My wife and I got orders to go to Ft Stewart, GA and it is going to be really tuff to be able to take both of our dogs with us out there, since we have to rent a home and put a deplosit, there is a lot that you have to do to rent with pets.

We are looking for a good home, with a family and kids that are home often to be able to give our amazing dog the attention that she needs. Just in case you all are wondering, she is 100% pure Husky with AKC papers. We are looking for someone that live near our house now which is in Clarksville, TN or someone that is in the Savannah area where we will be moving.

Her name is Maya and she is 2 years old and an amazing dog. Only looking for people who are serious about owning a dog and are for sure that they will have the time and energy to give her the attention she needs.

idk how people can do this. there is 100% no way i'd give up any of my pets, period. i dont care how much more difficult it would make things.

but, everyone circumstances are different, so GL op. Here's hoping the dog finds a good home and doesnt have to make a move like this again.

Trust me you all, My wife and i got into plenty of huge arguements about it, we both dont want to do it, but it is the best for the dogs. We dont want to move and both be at work all day with the dogs either locked in their kennels when there is bad weather or stuck in the backyard all day. We are doing this so that they have a family to play with and that they can get the most attention that is possible. And it is really tuff for my wife to take care of two dogs while I am deployed, when we start a family and if I deploy again, she will have to take care of two dogs and a baby by herself, thats a tuff job for one person.

But she is def only two years old for sure, we had her since she was a little puppy and we raised her the whole time. She is the best and we just want the best for her.

EDIT: Oh, I didnt get it at first, but nope, wife is staying with me. lol

This is why we are giving her away for nothing, she is more important to us then money, Im sure if I wanted to I can sell her, but we care about a good home that has a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves

I'd take her in a heartbeat if I didn't already have a husky. GL and make sure you find her the right owners.

Husky's are great with other dogs, you should know that they love to play. But I understand completely. They shed a lot and they are really high maintinence, two might be a little difficult. lol

Lousiana isnt that far. If you have a family that seems right for her I think the drive would be worth it.

zeroyon 01-12-2011 10:12 PM

She is a good dog, and very well house trained. She does not get onto the couch or bed, never goes potty in the house, and waits by the back door if she needs to go, or she will just hold it. Never had one problem with her besides shedding, but that is normal with a lot of dogs

If anyone is interested, my wife and I will want to visit your home to see if its good for her, or we would need to see pictures.
