And I would do this over the summer if anything. when I'm on vacation and have tons of time to do this
|
i have 2 weeks at work and 4 weeks free :D so i got plenty of time to do this  but it is time-consuming :eeps:

So here is what i have done today.. i always forget to take pictures.. but here are some. DON'T start on this project unless you have a lot of patience and a feew weeks off work :) Sorry the bad pictures.. some from the crappy iphone camera. New pictures will come when i'm finished :)

THIS was a project... SMD leds.. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1309.jpg And the push buttons for the fog lights had to be unsoldered. because the LED is in the button. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1300.jpg here is the button unsoldered from the mainboard. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1299.jpg To get out the LED here i had to drill away the old soldering.. i dont think this is usual solder tin.. Nott possible to unsolder. Here is it drilled http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1298.jpg new LED soldered .. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1304.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1303.jpg And here the finished product http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_0041.jpg The ashtray in the back of the console http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_0040.jpg and here the window switches and lock switch with new light http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_0039.jpg so far so good. this took me about 6 hours. :D i was wondering to start with the cd player now. but my head says NO :D some old LED's http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...t/IMG_1310.jpg |
