Greetings! Newbie reporting...

Hi guys! What a great forum this is, managed to find alot of information about my first E46 from this forum. Have always been more of a Japanese car guy, past rides includes a 92 Honda Civic EG6, 95 Nissan 180SX, 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-t sedan when I was schooling in Melbourne, Australia, and a 2004 UK spec Subaru WRX STi. Purchased my first BMW, a 2005 black E46 318iSE, in Bangkok, Thailand, where I spend half my time these days, and my wife-to-be being based in Bangkok. What a great car it is, even though being the base model with the more humble 4 cylinder engine. I guess it's good enough for now, for the horrible Bangkok traffic, until I recieve more "poisonous" information on this forum.

A photo of the car now. I'll get some better quality photos taken when I get back to Bangkok.

I've been reading the forum about the M Sport package for the E46, and it seem my car has almost everything the M Sport package comes with, auto leveling xenon lights, rain sensor, glossy black window linings, 3 spoke steering wheel with audio and cruise control but has wood trim bottom, etc. What I do not have on the car, is the M Sport bumper, M Sports seats and silver interior trim. My car comes with wood interior trim and electronic control driver and front passenger seats in cream leather. So can the E46 seniors here point me a direction as to whether my car is truely a M Sport, or even what bumper do I have on my car now. Thanks in advance!

a vast majority of cars come with the options you listed such as rain sensing and the 3 spoke steering wheel.
the m sport will have (i believe) the whole m tech body kid including side skirts and rear bumper. a short shifter with special shift knob. there's really a lot of things that it comes with. regardless of whether or not your car is a "m sport" it looks good

Thanks for the info! Your silver E46 looks good too.
