E60 545i shifter on 330cic mpack
 

Hey guys, im looking for some help on choosing the right shifter for my 5speed 330cic m pack. I was considering the E60 545 shifter but have read that there is absolutely no difference between the 330 and 545 shifter. Perhaps the Z4 3.0 would be a better option ? Im looking for a shorter/smoother throw without having to modify the shift lever. Any insight/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
