M3 hoods are aluminum. All others are steel. Cant weld aluminum onto steel my friend sorry :tsk:

Devious21 04-22-2011 06:34 PM

double-sided duct tape. Problem solved.

Drew@Swift Motorworks 04-22-2011 09:46 PM

 actually rick brings up a good point... you could use panel adhesive. 150 is steep though  Ive seen damaged hoods gor for like 80

Ive seen this go for over 150....i think its a fair price to custom your oem hood and have a perfect fitment hood

nah... i use bungee cords to keep bumpers on... i see no reason why it cant be done here. seems like the easiest method to me

IrocThe325i 04-24-2011 06:01 PM

drill some holes and put in some zipties

darksideracer69 04-24-2011 10:15 PM

i agree, 150 is STEEP, a local was gonna sell me a good m3 hood for 300.

fredperrybmw 04-24-2011 10:46 PM

Wow i gave a damaged M3 hood away for free because it was aluminum it wasnt worth fixing i cant believe people are trying to sell the bulges from them
