FEELER: Silver Gray 330i ZHP

112,xxx current miles. It's a 2004 Silver Gray 330i w/ Performance Package (ZHP) w/ Black Leather & Black Cube Interior. I Got the car in July 2010 @ 99k and have since done the following:

Hankook V12 tires @ 109,400
Brakes: Rotors/Pads @ 110,000
FCAB @ 108,000
Oil Separator/CCV @ 111,000(Done By Dealer; Mechanic said it was one of the cleanest cars that he has ever worked on. I have pictures of under the Valve Cover from when I did VANOS if you're interested)
Vanos Seals & Rattle Kit: 111,900
Spark Plugs @ 111,900
I did an Oil Change W/ Castrol European Formula 0w30 at around 103-105k

Comes With:
3k HID Fogs
Ipod Aux Input
Weisslicht Angel Eyes
Clear Front Corners & Sides
Matte Black Kidney Grilles
EDIT<--- I ordered a BMW Performance Intake last week, so it may come with that as well

I'm going to try to get around 13.5 for her.. but then again, this is a feeler. Just want to weigh it all out!

do you have any other maintenance information from the previous owner(s)?

VIN?

Any issues with the car?

All I have are the records that the dealer printed out for me via key read.

Please PM me if you would like the VIN

And the only issue I have with the car is either burns some oil or I have a bad oil level sensor. The yellow light only pops on every few times I turn the car off. I was probably going to get a new one on my next oil change to further diagnose my problem.

Such a clean ZHP..........

Question, did you feel any difference with the new VANOS seals?

Actually, I didn't :hmm:

My true opinion on this car, is that the only thing making this car old is the odometer saying "112xxx" for mileage, and the age appropriate rock chips. Part of me really thinks that if that odometer said 20xxx and I had a mechanic look over it, he would believe the odometer..

Probably burns oil. I'm pretty sure all M54s do. Check your oil level, your probably 2 qts low.

Clean car though! GLWS

It does burn oil. I'm just not sure if the Oil Level Sensor is messing around with me more or what. I checked the other day and the oil was halfway between the two notches (where it's supposed to be IIRC?) and the oil light comes on intermittently.

nike001 10-13-2011 08:44 PM

That engine is soooooo clean for 120k! Looks just as good as mine did when I took it off at 65k! Awesome job on keeping this car in mint condition, props to you!

Good luck with your sale, I'm trying to get out of my ZHP and into M3 soon too

Really? No difference at all for you? After the install I started to notice a lot more low end grunt and pull that continued to become more and more noticeable as the seals broke in. Now that I have about 7k on the VANOS since the rebuild, i can safely say that it made a significant difference in performance (not to mention it got rid of that god awful ZHP vanos rattle, my car legit sounded like a diesel truck!).

Thanks! I've considered just keeping it for what it is.. since it is so clean. That and I'm tired of the $10k offers :lmao:

Yeah I couldn't really notice much. I didn't do it for the power.. I did it to get rid of that god awful rattle. My seals didn't really seem to be in bad condition either, so maybe that's why I didn't feel a difference?

Well, how about prices right in the middle between your list price and the $10k offers? :)

hi from the mafia. :D

dell84 10-17-2011 01:55 PM

Where are you located?

Although I would also offer you 10k.

free bump for the mafia... If I wasn't so scared about mileage (my own phobia, car looks immaculate for 120K, hell it looks great for 1/2 of that) I'd have at this one for sure.
