So what exactly do you swap, and how much would a guy be looking at for it??

Jblack4083 10-15-2011 08:02 PM

Needs quad!

Amazing project i did not know this could be done

Nervous 10-15-2011 08:24 PM

Needs drop.

gawa 10-15-2011 08:24 PM

wow! that's impressive.

Alex323Ci 10-15-2011 08:26 PM

nice project

but what's M3 about it other than the S54? did you swap the 3.62 LS diff and what diff/diff ratio you use for the front?

rizwan1377 10-15-2011 08:57 PM

Awesome.

I'm sorry, but an AWD M? I'm not seeing it. I'm impressed you could do it, but sort of disappointed that someone would want to. For what it cost, he could have bought an F150 for driving in the snow...and he probably won't take the M out in the snow anyway.

Why would you want to lose an M by adding AWD to it? Is it just me thinking, 'what was owner thinking'?

Doug I hear what you're saying, in some sense I agree. If BMW were to have made this car in AWD I probably wouldn't like it, because ///m's are supposed to be rwd sports cars, not awd rally cars.

BUT, I have to say since this is a completely custom job, it's completely original and I LOVE IT. And I would TOTALY take this out in a little bit of snow!

What the hell is wrong with you man:facepalm:

If BMW ever made an AWD wagon M E46 I would buy it in a heart beat.

can you say Audi Quattro :4ngie:

JohnBlaze 10-15-2011 10:28 PM

that's Nasty, would love to see some FI on it.

good job guys!

shata 10-15-2011 10:37 PM

Idk about this, Stock m3 with awd is pointless - Add some HPF turbo sauce and I can see the benefit cause it would not loose traction as easy.

RKiepper 10-15-2011 11:01 PM

+1 on FI.. Freak someone out, Burn off all four tires!!!

sedanpowersc 10-15-2011 11:08 PM

Meh, needs a drop.

Bimmer_Addict 10-15-2011 11:11 PM

That's one sick car, Great job. is a N54 engine doable in our cars?

ac_2007 10-15-2011 11:27 PM

Im impressed, hopefully that engine is coupled to a manual transmission.

Nervous 10-15-2011 11:56 PM

Hopefully VANOS bolts and tabs are fixed in the engine....

LittleChrist12 10-16-2011 12:51 AM

Can you tell us what exactly was done to this car? What transmission was used? Were the diffs changed? Estimated cost and major components needed?
