BBS Ch or Oem Zcp

I'm thinking of changing my wheels for next summer. Right now i have csl replicas from bmautosport UK, but they're just not the real deal. Want either square Zcp's or BBS Ch's with 8.5 et20 fronts. Square Zcp's are killer but then again I don't like neg camber. The offset of the ch's is pretty nice, and with a red centercap, they would match my imola interior. Hmm decisions decisions... :hmm:
What would you go for ?

I would go for 19" CH's

The rear concave look on M3 fitment is fantastic.

I'm leaning towards the Ch's... found a Set in Germany with the Offsets I'm looking for 8.5'' et20 10'' et20, new for 1400 Eur.- wich would be 1930.- Usd
I think that four rear Zcp's will cost more, don't know the price though. Anyone knows what they run for overthere ? Here in Switzerland everything is much more pricey. :(

CH's all the way

To OP, your M looks sick bro.. nice stance, love the porsche rims. They flow so well with the car kinda look simillar to the CH's ;)

Here is a Pic of the Ch's with the 8.5'' et20 fronts. Perfect flush fitment without spacers.
Hope the owner doesn't mind.

In terms of looks I think the BBS is a better choice. In terms of wheel quality, I think there is no doubt, it is not even close that the BBS CH is a way better quality wheel. So BBS wins on both.

ZCPs looks clean. The CH has too much hub area, blocking the view of the rotors behind it.

So the fact that bbs makes the oe csl wheel doesn't matter? :hmm:

Love this one. I think i saw this in another thread, the guy was also on some 15mm spacers in the front. Does anyone of you had this setup, and knows how the 9.5 will effect the handling ? How much neg. camber do I need to make these badboys fit under the arch. I'd probably go with a 245 tires in the front and 255 in the back.

Great pics guys, keep em coming.

Will go for it and and try square zcp probably in march after winter. Will post pics once I get them on. Any advise is appreciated.

It matters, and I see your point, but the CH is just flat out a tougher wheel than the ZCP. I am not saying that the OE ZCP wheel is a flimsy wheel or anything like that. It is a very good wheel, but the CH is just better in terms of strength in certain areas. On the ZCP wheel you are paying for the fact that it is in some way "OE" with the CH you are paying for quality through and through. CH's look cool, but they were not built for looks, they just happen to be "form following function."

But hey, that is my opinion.

I would actually consider going with the Sportline CSL style wheels. They're lighter than the OEM ZCP wheels, equally as strong, and they look identical but at a fraction of the price. These wheels have just became a serious competitor in the E46 market because of they're rotary forged construction and they're overall durability due to a powdercoated finish that comes from factory. I think just made a good deal on some zcp's, not square tough. Bought them for 1420 Euro so 1930 dollar. They're in mint cond. without any skratches or Bordchips. They're on some Hankook s1 Evo's in 225/40.. 255/35. Are these tires any good ? Going to collect them this Suterday, will take some pics soon.
I will probably try square next summer. I also sold my reps to a local. Couldn't have gone any better.
