As far as Chain Restaurants
Maggiano's I almost always prefer local unique places to chains. I try to avoid chains in general |
Apple Bee's lol
|
|
Golden Corral :lmao:
|
Depends if it's lunch/dinner...Sullivan's has a great lunch menu...We have some really nice local fine(er) dining establishments for dinner.
Maggiano's isn't bad for lunch either,little pricey. |
Every second restaurant down here is Thai. And they all seem to be doing well.
Similar trend in US? Sent from my 3310 |

Chain restaurants... :lmao:
Chain restaurants are just this side of fast food... Although I'll consider the Palm, Ruth's Chris, and the Pappa's chain. On the road, I never eat at chains (what would be the point?). I'll find out where the locals go for anniversaries and wedding rehearsals... I like to see and speak to the owner, have him know my name, and reserve my table when I want it. Like at Al Biernat's down in Oak Lawn... |
My wife and I enjoy Cheese Cake Factory and Saltgrass Steak house. What makes it better is that we don't have one in our town so when we go to Oklahoma City, once in a blue moon, we treat ourselves.
1. Our first CKF was at the Cesar's Palace in Vegas, so it brings back great memories. 2. SGS was where we went on one of our first dates so again, its the memories, and the great food. |
