Infiniti M takes on Porsche Panamera... FORGOT ABOUT BMW!

Fuel economy in the Infiniti is rated at an impressive 32 mpg on the highway, while the Panamera comes in at 30 mpg. The M hybrid weighs in at 4,129 pounds for a power-to-weight ratio of 11.46 pounds/horsepower. The Panamera, to compare, weighs in at 4,365 pounds, giving it a very similar ratio of 11.48 pounds/horsepower. The sprint to 60 takes 5.7 seconds in the Porsche and "under six seconds" in the Infiniti.

The BMW ActiveHybrid 750i comes in at a hefty 4,795 lbs., but it boasts 455 HP and 515 lb-ft. of torque. This gives it a 10.54 pound-per-horsepower ratio, beating both the Panamera AND the Infiniti. I'm trying to contact BMW to step up to the plate and put both of these competitors to shame.

Why is the screened blurred at 0:58?

I didn't see any blurring. At :58, the Infiniti is making a left turn and exiting to the right of the screen, then they cut to the interior of the Infinity from the rear, showing the guy with the purple shirt and the overly busy and wide center console.

Is the BMW actually on sale yet? If not, then they can make the claim. For now.

The ActiveHybrid 7 isn't any competition because it's in a different class. The Infiniti is a full hybrid, meaning it's capable of accelerating from a stop using ONLY it's electric motors. The ActiveHybrid 7 can't.
