New Lighting?
what kind/who would you guys recommend to replace my interior lights with LED lights? is there something better than LED lights?

I have xenon interior lights. No need for resistors, they're not as bright but look really classy. Also the light they put off doesn't give off a glare on your windows at night, so its safe if you ever need them on.

Believed it or not but bmw has a led interior lights kit for our e46. The part is listed in realoem. I checked it myself yesterday

sent from HTC EVO

where do i find it? website?

^find what? The OEM light kit? Go to realoem.com, follow the steps then get the part number for the kit. Then put that part number in google or call your local dealership.

I have a dc inverter plugged into my cigarette light. It's enough to power my 150W halogen work light that I rigged up firmly on the back seat armrest. I have a couple of sheets of that stuff plumbers use when soldering so as not to burn nearby wood. It looks horrible, but it's very bright.

This is a $20 diy...$60 if you don't want it to burn your leather!

With a high heat spray paint, you could easily make it fit right in! :lmao:
