ECS Polyurethane Control Arm Bushings Review

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know, this last week I had the ECS Polyurethane Control Arm Bushing Set (66mm) installed. http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330....0L/ES1899439/

They are amazing! It truly brought back the tight suspension back and made it even better than factory.

For all those who are afraid of a harsh ride or race ride due to the Polyurethane there is NO SUCH THING!

Thank you to ECStuning.com for getting my car running amazing again,

fbn2000

Yes. Going from worn OE LCA bushings to new bushings of any brand/kind will yield a nice improvement. Glad you're happy though!

Hi the fnb2000,
Just wanted to follow up on the performance of the ECS poly control arm bushings - are they still working fine? I replaced mine with some German brand at a lower price. Did not even last 3 months, driving on good, tar roads. Cost me double labour too, but replaced with OEM, and they are fine. If the poly ones are great, what do they cost and where can one get them?

I'm afraid of them because I've just learned that MTC is one of those "stay away from" brands, but that's good that they work well. I wanna go with Powerflex because that seems to be what most use.

These look identical to the Powerflex except they have red inserts instead of purple. I have the PF ones, but I'm sure these are fine.

I am putting on Powerflexes soon. I too wonder what exactly is different between MTC and Powerflex. They seem to be designed very similarly using the same material.

Any poly will increase NV and stiffness. It will also will improve feel.

It's amazing to me when someone claims they have found the silver bullet and lots of people believe them. It happens over and over again.
