WTB: 330i engine ZHP (and what is the difference between ZHP and standard 3.0 engine?
Hi everyone, I am new to BMW club. I bought Red 04 330I RWD Mpackage 6 speed ZHP from my body with bad engine. Now I'm looking for engine and was thinking if I should put the same ZHP 235hp (which is hard to find and very expensive) or just regular engine with 225hp (less expensive and easier to find).
Also what is the difference between them? Will I be able to use my ZHP engine parts on standard engine to make it ZHP? Last question, If any one selling ZHP engine, Please let me know ASAP, because I am planing to fix the car by the end of this month. Thanks. |

Its just a normal m54b30 with different cams and ecu tune. This is also in the wrong forum.

the zhp m54b30 haz mo power over a reg m54b30 putting it closer in s54b32 territory.

So instead of 225hp in a m54b30, the ZHP puts out 10hp more( 235hp)
Thats not any where close to the 333hp a s54b32 in an M3 puts out, about 100hp less if u do the math. |

@ sunnyjay - I dont think you read my whole thread. "If any one selling ZHP engine, Please let me know ASAP, because I am planing to fix the car by the end of this month."
Is it the right place to look for engine? |

You must have a ZHP engine for sale. :) @OP - this description is a bit over-optimistic, by about 90hp. Also, basically admitting that you don't exactly know what you are trying to buy does not put you in a great negotiatiating position. Adding that you want to make the purchase in a hurry basically puts you in a worse position - bent over and lubed up would be a pretty close description. Spend 30 minutes on Google, find an answer, and at least sound like you know what you want to buy. |
