bought mine for 4k and did all the work by myself. I pay for gas and insurance( I dont have collision. Im now regretting it because my friend crashed my car into a curb. NEVER let ANYONE drive your car.)
its got 240,000 on the OD so Im looking in to dooing a M54B30 swap. that will be my next big venture.

I think what he's trying to say is there isn't any real mystery to 'affording' a bmw when you're a minor living with your parents. Unless you're emancipated, you can't even form a contract to purchase a car on your own.

I'd be willing to bet that almost none of the highschool students on E46F own a car. There are only a few states where it's even possible to title/register your own car under the age of 18 and pretty much none where a minor can (legally) take out a loan by themselves.

It's the end of June, anyone over 18 that is still in highschool at this point is either doing summer school and didn't graduate on time, or otherwise *special*.

Mango 06-28-2012 03:34 PM

lol. I like how racks are listed as a mod. u stanced, bro?

I actually had the option to title to my car under my name as I own it but it increases insurance exorbitantly when its in a highschoolers name, so its under my parents.

1-star thread is 1-star too many.

That's cool that your parents let you drive their car.
