Chrome trim around windows
Just wondering what's the best thing to clean/ shine the trim. I noticed it's plastic and the chrome on it looks like it's turning white/oxidized. Will regular chrome polish fix this and will it not hurt the plastic?

no, it's anodize aluminum. Best approach is to wax it to prevent it from further oxidizing. Orrr... if you are feeling dangerous you can go by these recommendations below. They are listed from costly to cheapest:

1) Buy brand new ones to replace
2) Take off your existing trims, sand off the anodize coat and redo it
3) Buy classictrimcoat.com restoration kit which shaves off a thin anodized layer and use water-base sealer annually to prevent oxidation

I have the same problem. Wax didn't do much for me.

claybar and detailer spray. cleans up most things. if its oxidized bad u need to sand it with a low grit 2000-3000 and polish it up
