Oh great... I thought you sold it? And what happened? Eagle Eyes, Angel Eyes, none of the above?

Not 100% sure.. smoke came out the A/C vents for the most part. Im assuming elcetrical but Ill post pics in a secon


Nah, I was getting ready to do some stuff to it this weekend to prep it for sale, but the Eagle Eyes and Angel Eyes are still saved

Dayum! It melted all the stuff off your steering wheel even! Any electronics plugged in? Was there a system or an aftermarket head unit in the car?

wow man sorry to hear it! glad your ok. could you actually hear that guy with the camera yelling that its on fire?

The only aftermarket electronics that I had in the car were my Angel Eyes. Had them since 10/09/10 (Exact date before BMW Meet), and never had a problem.

It was hard to just sit there and watch it burn. Couldnt do anything. Fire extinguisher wasnt enough and had to wait for the fire truck. Burn a lot of small things that I valued like my favorite jacket.

I cant see how people are saying "It's just a car". I worked hard to get this car and everything I did to the car I paid for. Have a lot of heart in this car and now it's gone like that.

I'll be looking for get another car around April. Hopefully insurance can write me off well. It's a 2000 323ci with 80k, they are informed about the wheels and valued them at 1k in 2010. I have sports and premium package and also lost my DSLR plus all my lenses. Hopefully they write me off well

Homeowners or your college insurance might be covering your camera. I'm sorry for your loss.

Ya know the new Sony RX-100 can probably replace your old DSLR for less. ;) I love mine!
