How bright are they compared to regular incadesent bulbs?

Do you have the exact same ones or just something similar?

The point of these, with the side LEDs, is that you don't just end up with a spotlight but have some light out to the side and some light on the ground behind your car, as well as a bright spot out behind.

The other pair linked may be brighter (don't believe Lumens quoted) but I doubt that the 'spill' lighting is as good as the first linked pair of bulbs.

And I'm pretty sure that there is no reverse light monitoring, so you shouldn't get an error with an LED bulb.

If you search for Cree and reverse lights, there are a few threads about these bulbs.

anyone remember the original thread on these. I ordered a set on sale @ $25 back then, but before i could install them, a bunch of cats wee saying theyre not as bright as you think because they dont spread the light as well as a halogen bulb and blah blah. So i stumbled upon them today and said, why the hell not. put them in and was immediately impressed, but waited till tonight to take pics.

impressive stuff... i like em.
