No love for morons who park in front of hydrants.

At least windows are an easy fix. Expensive lesson though. And funny as hell!!

ImolaSix 09-13-2012 09:15 PM

He deserved it for parking in front of the hydrant, but couldn't they have routed the hose under the car?

s2kjpark 09-13-2012 10:01 PM

Do you see the size of the valve? Think they're going to take precious time feeding that under the car (if it'll even clear the undercarriage) just because some moron parked in front of the hydrant?

He's parked so close that it would have cause a pretty good angle in the hose too restricting flow.

Guy got what he deserved.

No they didn't.
Mom said don't exaggerate.

jjamal99 09-13-2012 10:42 PM

I keep forgetting that's a law.
I'm from Germany and we don't have fire hydrants in Germany so I never had to worry about it. Lol

What do they have in place of hydrants?

Lusticles 09-13-2012 11:00 PM

If I illegally parked and there was a fire I would hope they cut time and smashed through my car if necessary.

It's one way for firemen to spread the word quickly and make a point. In addition to putting out the fire quickly, maybe preventing someone from dying.
If they do this to you, bet you tell all your friends.

JasonSmithed 09-14-2012 09:11 AM

I don't think it was to save time. Probably so the hose could have a straight line of flow

Sent from my SCH-I510 using Bimmer App

Stinger9 09-14-2012 09:39 AM

choxor kinda already said that back in post #13
