differential looks wet
so I noticed the other day some wet spots on the ground where I park. I looked under my car and it looks like the differential, I think, is wet. could it b just a gasket or just loose? how easy to replace gasket or tighten. how much for gasket and new fluid?

all i've seen diff's look wet, as long as its not pouring out, i wouldn't worry about it. there are diy's out there that replaces the seal if you want to do it...do a search

I have the same problem. Very small leak. From my searches, it's the pinion seal. I was quoted $500 to replace. The DIY says it's a PITA as you have to use a seal press. On my to do list.

If its dripping fix it. Seals dont usually press out. Pry out then use seal driver and floor jack under work bench if u gotta. Tightening means should change gasket anyways

Just had my seal replace this summer. If the leak is on the same side as the exhaust, it's a PITA. I had mine done at Turner Motorsport. Great work while you wait.
