Help with how much stretch on x5 alloys
I got hold of some 235 40 19 on the cheap
Wondered if the stretch would be to much on a 10 j x5 alloy wheel Has anyone tried this pls help Cheers mad4it |
I believe someone in another thread here on the forums said that they were running a 235/35/19 on their OEM X5 wheels.
You may be able to get away with that 235/40/19 with some fender work and negative camber. The tire brand can help determine if it might work or not as some tires do tend to run a bit larger in size such as the Conti DW's or Michelline Pilot sports. |
Thanks for the reply,
The tyres brand is REO 50A Bridgestone Potenza, will I still need arche mods if I get the right tyres? Thanks |
More than likely you will still need to roll your fenders and run negative camber as it is a really aggressive fitment for any E46 non M.
Have you already purchased the wheels? I can actually help you out in getting a perfect set of wheels that will work on your car without any rubbing issues. I can even get you a set of wheels that will work with those tires you just purchased  |
