These are $420 brand new from tischer...

Bamsterman 10-03-2012 06:53 AM

I have no idea who that is. Are they OEM? Or re-wrapped?

truekreation 10-03-2012 08:22 AM

OEM dealer.

illirep 10-03-2012 09:22 AM

Sorry for not clarifying, 99% of active members on here know who they are. Tischer BMW, in Silver Spring, MD operates www.getbmwparts.com. Most parts are offered at wholesale, or a few points above cost. They sell the OEM Competition Package Alcantarra steering wheel for $420 shipped. Only caveat is that you have to swap your original multi-function buttons, which takes all of 45 seconds to do.

Bamsterman 10-03-2012 09:25 AM

Well I must say, that is a great price! Thats less than our cost on it.

deadlysyns 10-03-2012 09:53 AM

FYI...

I hate to burst your bubble but your wheel is not OEM made from BMW. BMW alcantara tri-stitched steering have always been a 4 seam design. Your wheel is a one seam design at the 6 o'clock position. Also the thread used on the wheel is thinner than what BMW uses. Your wheel was re-wrapped by someone.

Riverbmr3 10-03-2012 12:27 PM

Seller don't know Tischer:tsk::lmao::rolleyes:

LeonL 10-03-2012 05:59 PM

looks like the rewrap guy left too much glue on the right spoke. deadlysyns is an expert in steering wheel, this cannot fool him.

Phanster 10-03-2012 08:15 PM

lol... this guy got fooled by someone else or he tried to fool one of us @ e46fanatics .

Good eyes bro...

Bamsterman 10-04-2012 06:51 AM

Well, I don't know what to tell you, this is not my personal steering wheel. I'm selling it from and for my dealership. Unless BMW sent us a re-wrapped wheel. As far as pricing, I cannot sell it for $420. It is below our cost on it, and I do not have my managers permisson to sell it at a loss.

Bamsterman 10-09-2012 06:35 AM

Bump

P-nache 10-11-2012 06:13 PM

Looks like Tischer's $420 is non-multifuntion; $695 for ZHP multi-function alcantara.

Which is why I said you need to swap your multi-function trim....

darksideracer69 10-12-2012 05:33 PM

lol, why would someone buy this when they can get it from tisher for a lot less?
