Caliper change with braided brake lines??

Been asked how would you go about changing a caliper with braided hoses fitted. With standard rubber hoses you can obviously just clamp them to prevent fluid spill, but how would you do it with braided items?

I assume you could fit some sort of bung into the hose, or maybe there is enough give in them to be able to clamp them without damaging the braid???

Anyone??

You don't clamp them. Just remove your factory ones and put in the braided ones. Then bleed the system to get all the air out.

Just let them drip, be quick, and then do a quality bleed.

rkneeshaw - Thats ok assuming you are just swapping, but I actually repaired mine myself so had my hose clamped for an hour or so. It was someone else who asked after I told them how to do it.

genuity - I didnt ask what you think I did.

Sorry! :( It was a long day and I totally misread it to be rubber lines.
