Sport springs VS H&R or eibach
Car: 2003 E46 sedan w OEM sport springs
Question: what type of performance springs would I use if I wanted car to sit just a little lower than OEM sports?
Thank you for your help
Changing struts at the same time
In my experience with lowering springs, H&R provides improved cornering, but general on the road comfort is given up; with Eibach springs, they are not as stiff and do provide a better ride. That's my 2 cents. As for shocks, investigate Bilstein Heavy Duty dampers; these are just marginally stiffer than stock and provide a smooth ride, but if the goal is handling above all else, check into H&R Race Springs with Bistein Sport Shocks - now if you go this route, just know any comfortable and forgiving ride characteristics the car once exhibited, will now be out the window.
For a mild drop Eibachs are typically the spring of choice. For your shocks I'd suggest going with Koni Sports. They are an adjustable damping shock which will allow you to fine to tune ride to match your style and liking. HERE is a link to my springs and HERE is a link to my shock offerings for your 325i.
