For 150 bucks I think even if they don't look good to you, you'd definately be able to resell em for a profit I think those would look great on an e46

$150 for all 4 in good condition? take that deal now

I just spent $150 on winter wheels that don't look nearly that good. Do it!

But, wait, do you plan to put them on your e46?

Those are from an e90, right? 17 x 8? I think the offest is ~10mm different. I'd check fit carefully.

Even if they don't fit, if they are in good shape, you should be able to resell for a profit.

bimer21 10-09-2012 01:20 PM

Yeah i want to put then on my sedan e46 they are 17x8 et34! I thinks they fit perfectly! Is there something wrong with the size or something i should know before buy then?!

LeMansteve 10-09-2012 02:31 PM

Are those the stock E90 328i sedan wheels?

bimer21 10-09-2012 02:32 PM

Yes they are

Offset is 34 mm. Both my style 45 (16 x 7) winter wheels and my 17 x 8 style 44s have an offset of 47 mm.

The difference is ~1/2 inch. This means that the inside edge of the wheel will be that much closer to the suspension than on my style 44s. From a "what does this look like" perspective, those 8" style 285s will have the same tucked-in appearance of my 7" wheels.

Others may know for certain. But it takes only 5 mins to check for clearance. I'd do this especially if the tires are larger than 225/45.

Buy them and resell.

Other way around. Lower offset sticks out more.

I have 17 x 8.5 offset and that's about the maximum limit the fenders can handle.

Of course. Negative offset = deep dish look

bimer21 10-09-2012 06:06 PM

So i can't run this on my sedan right? Also i have sport suspension! Let me know if i can run then or not

sunsetcoast 10-09-2012 06:20 PM

It will stick out 1/2" more than wheels that were delivered with the E46.

But enough back and forth with the electrons. It's a friend selling them, right? The best way to find out is to take 5 mins to mount a wheel and check in the real world.

bimer21 10-09-2012 06:23 PM

I will see so nobody have try it yet right

afstud 10-09-2012 07:37 PM

They should fit perfectly flush with no rubbing. I tried a set of the 17" 5 spoke coupe wheels from an e92 and they looked great and didn't rub didn't buy them because the seller asked way to much for them and wouldn't accept my offer

Sent from my unknown using Bimmer App

bimer21 10-09-2012 07:41 PM

I will leave my car like that stock you think they will fit like that? I got sport suspension
