Powerflex for Bay Area driving

I want to replace my stock front control arm and rear trailing arm bushings with Powerflex bushings. I know going with polyurethane stiffens up the ride and makes it a little harsh so I'm looking for some feedback from anyone running these in the bay area.
With the road conditions in SF would these make the ride unbearable?
How do you like them?

I have a 2001 330ci with stock sport suspension. Planning on doing coils down the road.
