e39 projectors to e46
 

so a friend of mine is getting rid of 2 drivers side headlights to a e39
they are both projector headlights
I wanted to know is it possible can I retrofit them onto my E46 headlights
If so what materials do I need

And by retrofit I mean just the projectors

of course you can. You can use any Xenon Projectors as long as they are both the same.. You'll see a lot ppl doing the fx or morimoto only because they are better than many other oem projectors, But at the end the decision its yours..(budget,$$$)

As to what you need is the same as any retrofit (ballast, Shrouds) perhaps you can use from the e36 as well..

That will take some good modifying in my opinion. In for results.
